What will Taylor Swift look like at the age of 85? A group of seniors recreated a series of pop album covers – with endearing results

Look what you made them do.

A group of seniors defying negative perceptions of aging are enjoying a taste of fame in their hometown after cleverly recreating some of the most famous album covers in history — including Taylor Swift’s “1989.”

The creative crew of Brits in their 70s and 80s found themselves thrust into the spotlight as the fun replicas were unveiled in celebration of the United Nations’ International Day of Older Persons (October 1).

Anne Blendell, 79, a retired healthcare professional, grabbed a pair of latex gloves and a nurse’s hat for a hilarious reworking of Blink-182’s 1999 release Enema of the State.

Blendell replaces early adult star Janine Lindemulder, who posed for the pop-punk original.

Teresa Clarke, 76, does a moody Adele in a ’21’ album cover reprise, while Maureen Capper, 80, is thoroughly hip as Madonna in her ‘True Blue’ era.

Pat Shepherd, 85, attempted the most daring feat of all — joining current pop idol Taylor Swift in 2014’s “1989.”

The fun collection was produced by amateur Louise Ahrens, a health and social worker in the Bournemouth area, SWNS reported.

Ahrens’ father, Keith Martin, 83, can be seen posing a la David Bowie on the 1973 album, “Aladdin Sane” — painted face and all.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Joint Council led the project.

The photographs will be displayed in public spaces throughout the area throughout the month.

“It is so important that we celebrate the integral role seniors play in our communities and neighborhoods; as workers, caregivers, volunteers, activists and community connectors,” Councilor Sandra Moore said.

“Often, these vital contributions are overlooked or limited by age and other social and physical barriers,” she said.

“Showcasing vintage idols not only challenges some of the stereotypes of older people, but pushes our aging population into the spotlight.”

The World Health Organization recently accepted the coastal resort region into its Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities.
